About The Artist
Elhassan Elmuontasir, born 1986 in Omdurman, Sudan. He is an independent artist, designer and arts-space manager, with a background in graphic design, technical education, international relations and fine arts. He has co-founded “Khaish Studio” in Khartoum back in 2012 and since then, he has been part of various collaborative art exhibitions and artist residencies in Khartoum as well as Uganda, India, Kenya and Germany. He is currently working on a project called “Social Structure” including paintings, texts and light installation.
