Laura Klockner is an independent curator and cultural producer based in Berlin. She is part of SAVVY Contemporary – The Laboratory of Form-Ideas, an art space dedicated to decolonial thought and epistemic diversity, where she recently co-curated an exhibition for the forum, expanded at the 70th Berlinale. She studied politics and postcolonial studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London, and joined the Industry Department of DOK Leipzig, the International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film in 2016. She worked for the European Film Market of the Berlinale and co-coordinated the Berlinale Africa Hub, a networking platform connecting the African film industry. She was part of the feature film jury for the Gabes Cinema Fen Festival in Tunisia in 2020.
