Ahmed Al-Idreesy Koum is a Sudanese thinker, filmmaker, cultural manager and founder of elMastaba Arts & Media Productions – a production house based in Khartoum, Sudan, that specializes in media & communication solutions. He is also an experienced photographer, copywriter and producer who worked with international actors such as YouTube, UNICEF, Vice International, UNDP, UN Women, Aljazeera Documentary and more. Known for his eccentric vision and robust drive in production, he has become an acclaimed key contemporary figure in revolutionizing the Sudanese media scene, with his work appearing in a series of national and international film events and screenings. He was most recently a featured guest speaker in the Global Re:Mix event in UAE on creativity and cultural identity. He currently works closely with UNICEF Sudan’s media and communications team, expanding their social media base and public audience engagement through content/concept generation.
