Rhea Schmitt is a filmmaker and media trainer with a focus on society, politics and art. She studied documentary filmmaking in the UK, as well as African history with a focus on Sudanese film in Germany. Following her studies in the UK, she worked as a researcher, production assistant and post production assistant for documentaries in London. From 2010 until 2013 she lived and worked in Khartoum, and produced images and educational films for national and international organizations, also she worked on independent projects. Since 2013 she collaborates on different journalistic and artistic formats, and projects for various platforms and organizations in Germany and Sudan.
